Adobe Creative Cloud Suite

University provides faculty, staff and students is a free subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud suite. This includes Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Premier, Illustrator and other services including an extensive font library.

You can install Adobe apps on all your devices (desktop, laptop, mobile devices and tablets), however you can only have it activated on two devices and use it on one device at a time.

The license is valid for one year, and you will be prompted to renew via your Princeton email.

Requests for Software Installation

Requests for software installation should be sent to csstaff@cs.princeton.edu. Please include what you want installed, where you want it installed, what it does, and a pointer to an official ftp/web site from which the software can be obtained. Source code is always preferred but we will install prebuilt binaries if necessary. Be sure to include any licensing restrictions and how you intend to pay for it if it needs to be purchased. Lastly, please, tell us how urgent the request is and include any deadlines involved.

MATLAB

Princeton University has purchased licenses for MATLAB as well as a substantial number of MATLAB Toolboxes. This software can be used on CS public use servers (cycles), including the ionic cluster, as well as individual users' machines. Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching

Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching is a Microsoft Program that supports technical education by providing access to Microsoft software for learning, teaching and research purposes. The University has a subscription to the Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching. All of the software licensed by Microsoft and is available for download by using your University account. Microsoft offers this software for academic use only.
