When there is a major disruption to our computing or networking infrastructure, we will post status information to:
- the front page of the CS Guide
- the offsite status page at http://www.csstaff.org/
Because the CS Guide will generally be inaccessible in the event of trouble with or scheduled maintenance on our network, please make a note of the URL for the offsite page.
Downtime Announcements
In addition to being posted as status (above), scheduled maintenance ("downtime") announcements are pre-announced in email messages to the downtime mailing list.
Power Announcements
Users wishing to get real-time announcements of notifications of power events in the CS Building can subscribe to the power mailing list.
